Set on 34 hectares of beautiful parkland and with linked rooms and spaces that can be expanded, reduced or used in combinations to suit, Claudelands is a flexible venue with plenty of space.

Claudelands offers a range of convenient features and services – from its 11 break-out rooms, range of pre-function spaces and integrated audio visual systems, to its ultra-fast fibre optics to the building, high-quality caterings services and complimentary on-site car parking.

The main conference space, the Heaphy Room, is 1,000sqm and can seat 900 or up to 700 banquet-style, with the option of dividing the room into three separate spaces. Standing alongside the conference centre is:

• A 6000-capacity arena, suitable for large seated banquets and conference plenary sessions
• A combined 10,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor exhibition space
• Character function space, The Grandstand

To complement the high quality of its venue, Claudelands maintains exclusive partnerships with industry-leading companies Montana Food and Events and Vidcom New Zealand Ltd. Based on site these partners provide optimum service in catering and audio visual, communications and equipment for all conferences and functions. Among the offering, Claudelands also has a complete in-house exhibition build team, technical services and equipment hire, as well as a dedicated venue conference and exhibition team.

This four-star conference centre is located a short 10 minute walk from Hamilton’s CBD, with easy access to the city’s accommodation facilities and its thriving hospitality scene, and offers ample on-site parking.
