The Headwaters Eco Lodge
The Headwaters Eco Lodge is an ideal destination for corporate groups, conferences, incentive programs, leadership meetings and product launches. The property’s beautiful setting and surroundings give groups a unique setting to connect, build relationships, and create memories.

At the heart of your venue is the lodge building, the perfect place to get to know one another and socialise. Relax in our Greenstone Lounge, or take in the stunning views and artworks found everywhere. Venture outside to discover not only our Scheelite Campfire Shelter, which is perfect in all weathers but also our gardens and mountain vistas, enjoyed by groups all times of the year.

The Lodge offers flexible solutions to your group’s requirements with all meals prepared by our internationally recognised executive chef. The facilities include a range of rooms including a large meeting which can be split in two, and plenty of break-out spaces, private dining and more. Each space comes equipped and includes free WIFI, state-of-the-art AV and seating options to suit any gathering. There is a day delegate option for up to forty people but most of our guests like the option of staying on-site in our beautiful chalets, which works really well for groups looking for something unconventional.

The Headwaters Eco Lodge was named by TIME Magazine as one of the World’s 100 Greatest Places of 2019. It was also built to one of the highest standards of sustainability in the world, the Living Building Challenge. It also has the largest solar garden in New Zealand's South Island. The Headwaters Eco Lodge currently produces more energy than it consumes and has obtained its Net Positive Energy accreditation.
