Miro is located in one of the few heritage buildings that remain in Christchurch. Originally built in 1934 the building is adorned with history and art deco features. As soon as you step inside you are transported back in time, with high ceilings, open fires and large windows that fills the room with light allowing guests to gaze out over the quaint river Avon. Take the original 1930’s lift to Level 2 where you will discover the Fantail, Kea and Pukeko rooms each with city views and their own unique purpose.

The Fantail room boasts space, height and light complemented by grand windows, river views and spectacular chandeliers. This room offers something special! With a bespoke bar and built-in sound system the room is ready to go and will suit almost any occasion.

Small but perfectly formed the Kea room is ideal for a private business meeting, workshops, special occasion lunches, dinner, high tea or as a breakout room just to name a few. The Kea room features a high spec wall-mounted TV, fireplace, natural light and river view.

A little gem, the Pukeko room can be best described as snug. With views of the river and a cosy fireplace, the Pukeko room holds personality and charm ideal for a bridal room, breakout space or somewhere to relax
