Larnach Castle is the perfect setting for a special event.

Where else could you have the highlight of your conference but at Dunedin’s icon?

Scottish Banquets, Victorian Balls, Black Tie Dinners, it all happens in the magnificent Larnach Castle Ballroom. Built in 1886, the historic Ballroom features a 3000 square sprung floor, beautiful chandeliers, three open fires and seating for 180 people. Guests may also arrange to tour the inside of New Zealand’s Castle and marvel at the unique, talented craftsmanship and collection of antiques. Guests are also welcome to explore the award winning “Garden of International Significance”. A visit to Larnach Castle and grounds is a welcome addition to partner programmes. Larnach Lodge is situated on Castle grounds and offers 12 rooms.

Camp Estate
Dunedin’s historic Larnach Castle is complimented by Camp Estate; a luxurious country house positioned high on the Otago Peninsula, just 500 metres from the main gates of Larnach Castle.

Camp Estate features five well appointed bedrooms, capturing both rural and harbour views. The house offers a tranquil setting to hold retreats, seminars and meetings in a dedicated meeting room. Groups of up to 20 can be accommodated and break out spaces can be made available. A whole of house booking enables the entire property to be used by groups.

Catering is supplied from the catering team at Larnach Castle. Guests staying at Camp Estate are invited to dine in one of the Castle dining rooms at night, breakfast is cooked onsite by the live in hosts.
