First Timers Welcome Programme

The BEIA Conference is the place to make connections, learn and have a great time while doing it!

Join us for this unique opportunity to connect, network, and enjoy a dose of good old fashioned competition led by the crew from Team Up Events! This social (yes you can enjoy a drink and something to nibble at the same time) activity is perfect for those too savvy to sweat before the welcome function later that night, but will undoubtedly test your ability to negotiate, trade, and develop relationships that you can trust! BEIA Welcome Function

Hawke’s Bay is known as New Zealand’s Food and Wine Country and tonight you will experience a warm welcome,
delicious fare, and a taste some of Hawke’s Bay award winning wines.
 
The Old Church is a very special venue, a hidden gem with its lush garden, the perfect place to gather and enjoy a spring evening.
 
All full registrations include a complimentary ticket to the Welcome Function.

Experience Hawke’s Bay - Post Event “Debrief”

At the conclusion of the Experience Hawke’s Bay afternoon, join us for a drink.
We can’t wait to hear the stories! A happy hour service will operate, followed by an evening at leisure.

BEIA Conference Dinner

Deco, Diamonds and Decadence

Date: Thursday 6 October
Time: 7.00pm - midnight
Venue: Toitoi: Hawke's Bay Arts & Events Centre, 101 Hastings Street South, Hastings
Dress: Glitz & glam, dress to impress to the Art Deco theme

Think Art Deco, fringes, diamonds, and champagne. Think Coco Chanel, Duke Ellington and of course, Jay Gatsby. That’s the “Great Gatsby” to his contemporaries. The magnificent ToiToi – Hawke’s Bay Arts & Events Centre will host this evening’s gala dinner, a celebration of flapper fashion, art deco design, and epic dance moves.

We will also celebrate the annual BEIA Outstanding Contributors Award, sponsored by our friend David Hall and Jane Hunter from Hunter’s Wines.

Whether it is gangster or flapper, soldier, or starlet – let’s dress to impress.
